I am a woman.
I am over fifty.

These are just two of my superpowers.

Thanks for being here.

My name is Patty Hargreaves.  In late 2019, I left my job at a small company building net zero communities, and threw myself into developing a carpooling app to reduce single occupancy vehicles on our roads.   Then the coronavirus took over.   Commuting patterns changed drastically.    Conversations with pilot participants and funders came to a screeching halt.

Now what?

I’ve been in this ‘now what?’ place before, but COVID 19 has trashed all previous playbooks that I might have leaned on.  At the same time, the pandemic has unearthed enormous need.

I want to use my superpowers to help my community thrive while making a living in a challenging time.   I am open to all ideas and possibilities.

Open yourself to everything, and everything opens itself to you.

Richard Wagamese

This website will give shape to my past performances, as well as my present journey in real time.   I will spark conversations with inspiring and clever people about the work they do, and I’ll share lessons and discoveries here.   Maybe my voice will resonate in this strange new world in an unexpected way.   It would be gratifying if I could inspire others who are going through the same journey, especially women.

My vision:

Be useful to my community, locally or globally.

My key values:

  1. Engage honestly.
  2. Be curious.
  3. Trust yourself.
  4. Lend a hand.
  5. Love always wins.
